Cybersecurity Engineer (Offensive Security)

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with an offensive security mindset to join VisionSpace’s cybersecurity team. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in complex space and defense systems, applying deep technical expertise to protect mission‑critical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to security research, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing activities.
• Identify, analyze, and validate vulnerabilities in complex systems and applications.
• Support or drive exploit development for discovered weaknesses.
• Produce clear, high‑quality technical documentation and customer‑facing reports.
• Contribute to the delivery of cybersecurity projects and services across various domains.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve the security posture of advanced systems.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or 5+ years of hands‑on experience in offensive security, vulnerability research, exploit development, or penetration testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a creative, persistent hacker mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑moving, ambiguous technical environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility for NATO Security Clearance.

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with networking protocols.
