Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Join Stadler Digital Labs, the digital competence centre of the Stadler Group, as a Cyber Security Engineer focused on Operational Technology (OT). You will help secure rail‑related digital solutions, ensuring they meet the highest safety and resilience standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures for OT environments in rail applications.
• Conduct network security assessments, threat modelling and risk analyses.
• Perform system security testing and vulnerability assessments on embedded and industrial systems.
• Review and align solutions with security standards such as ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 21434 and NIST CSF.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Academic background in Cyber Security or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience in OT cyber security (mandatory).
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 21434, NIST CSF).
• Proactive learning attitude, strong teamwork skills and respect for diverse viewpoints.
• Fluent English communication skills and willingness to explore new locations.
