Cyber Defense Center Analyst

About the role

Join Siemens Cyber Defense Center to detect, analyze, investigate, and defend against sophisticated digital attacks. You will work with a world‑class team protecting Siemens worldwide from cyber security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat detection and analysis using multiple data sources.
• Review adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures to develop detection use‑cases.
• Support threat hunting and develop detection analytics.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to enhance detection capabilities.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for critical security events.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise detection & response, network traffic analysis, and intrusion detection.
• In‑depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Self‑motivated, curious about technology, and eager to learn.
• University degree in Computer Science, IT Security or related field; certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GICSP, GRID, or GREM are a plus.
• Proficient written and spoken English with good interpersonal skills.
