Customer Orders & Production Planning Specialist (Maternity Cover)

About the role

As a Customer Orders and Production Planning Specialist you will ensure operational excellence by balancing customer requirements, production capacity and delivery performance. The role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, production stability and continuous improvement across Bosch’s automotive electronics operations in Braga.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and negotiate production plans with internal and external stakeholders to align the supply chain.
• Develop, monitor and optimise production schedules based on customer demand and annual sales forecasts.
• Manage production leveling activities and track key performance indicators to support operational excellence.
• Coordinate customer deliveries and proactively address bottlenecks to achieve service and delivery targets.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics and planning teams to ensure efficient production execution.
• Support industrialisation initiatives, continuous‑improvement projects and Lean Manufacturing implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, logistics or supply‑chain environments.
• Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes and quality management methods.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
