darkroom
Job description
About the role
Darkroom is looking for a Creator Manager to own and expand its B2B creator program and to build a brand‑new creator‑led acquisition channel for its AI commerce layer, Shadow. The role is fully remote and reports to the VP of Marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Run the existing creator roster day‑to‑day, handling relationships, briefs, scheduling and publishing cadence.
- Source new operator‑creators based on their built‑out audiences and strategic thinking.
- Increase the volume and quality of creator content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, targeting 40,000 Instagram followers by 2027.
- Collect reviews, testimonials and social proof for internal use.
- Build Shadow’s creator channel from scratch, identifying operators whose audiences match Shadow’s buyers.
- Design a creator‑led acquisition funnel measured by sign‑ups and pipeline.
- Report on the channel’s performance separately from Darkroom’s metrics.
- Structure and manage commercial terms (fees, affiliate, co‑marketing, advisory).
- Provide creators with strategy, data and product access to craft specific messaging.
- Maintain an accurate creator CRM in partnership with Marketing Ops.
Required profile
- Deep understanding of B2B audiences and buying processes.
- Proven experience running creator, partner or community programs with practitioner‑type creators.
- Strong commerce and growth literacy to converse with brand and agency leaders.
- Ability to evaluate audience authenticity, structure mutually beneficial deals and brief creators without diluting their voice.
- Experience handling the commercial side of creator relationships (fees, affiliate, co‑marketing).
- Highly organized to manage contracts, deliverables and payment schedules at scale.
- Comfortable working alongside AI tools for analytics, reporting and workflow automation.
- Capable of building a brand‑new acquisition channel while managing an established program.
What we offer
- Unlimited PTO plus local holidays.
- Remote‑first culture with flexible work arrangements.
- Flexible parental leave.
- Opportunities for interdisciplinary growth and skill expansion.
- Equal‑opportunity workplace committed to diversity and inclusion.
