Corporate Audit Manager – International (OUS)

About the role

Amgen’s International (OUS) Corporate Audit team is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead the day‑to‑day execution of risk‑based internal audits across global affiliates and functions. Based in Lisbon, the role involves up to 40% international travel to conduct onsite audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of assigned audits under the direction of a Senior Manager (Audit Lead).
• Perform audit procedures in Healthcare Compliance, Anti‑Bribery & Anti‑Corruption, Data Privacy, Finance and operational processes.
• Conduct risk and control assessments, test controls, and identify issues following Corporate Audit methodology.
• Maintain complete and accurate workpapers in the audit system (e.g., AuditBoard).
• Draft clear audit observations and analyses for senior review and support report preparation and corrective‑action tracking.
• Coordinate with process owners and local affiliate contacts, communicating audit requirements, status and timelines.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, anti‑bribery, data‑privacy and finance audit domains.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple audits simultaneously and travel internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AuditBoard or similar audit management software.
