Controlling Business Analyst (f/m/div.)

About the role

The Controlling Business Analyst will support business performance through data‑driven financial analysis and insightful reporting. Working closely with business leaders and cross‑functional teams, you will help ensure sound financial decision‑making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse profit and loss (P&L) performance to ensure alignment with budget targets and business objectives.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports on overhead costs, budget variances, and key performance indicators.
• Support monthly closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting in SAP.
• Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
• Collaborate with directors and managers to identify efficiency improvements and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc management reports to support decision‑making processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling, reporting, and financial analysis processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in financial controlling, business controlling, cost accounting, financial planning or financial analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
