Construction Project Manager

About the role

Cotton Holdings, Inc. seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of heavy reconstruction projects across Puerto Rico. The role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders, providing transparent updates.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets to ensure profitability.
• Prepare and file all required contracts, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Lead site safety initiatives, including safety plans, toolbox talks, and investigations.
• Manage team performance, resolve conflicts, and uphold quality standards throughout each project phase.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically heavy reconstruction.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 10/30).
