Comptroller

About the role

The Comptroller will lead the organization’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards. This senior finance professional will partner with management to provide insights that drive sound business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, supplying required documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and financial analysis.
• Analyze results and variances, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
• Provide guidance and supervision to accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CPA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
