Commercial Purchasing Internship (Extracurricular)

About the role

Join Bosch’s Commercial Purchasing team in Aveiro for a 12‑month extracurricular internship. You will support the sourcing and cost‑optimization processes that keep our Home Comfort division competitive and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection and manage market requests (RfQ) while comparing quotations (CoQ) based on total cost of ownership.
• Assist buyers in supplier negotiations and support the overall negotiation process.
• Review supplier capacity planning and align it with business volume forecasts.
• Identify, implement and monitor measures that affect direct material cost, including technical and commercial cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP.
• Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• High level of social and communication competence.
