Commercial Purchasing Internship (Extracurricular)

About the role

This 12‑month extracurricular internship offers a hands‑on experience in commercial purchasing within Bosch's Home Comfort division in Aveiro. You will work closely with the buying team to support supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage market requests (RfQ) and compare quotations (CoQ) using total cost of ownership criteria.
• Support buyers during supplier negotiations and contract discussions.
• Review supplier capacity planning and align it with business volume forecasts.
• Identify, implement and monitor cost‑saving initiatives, both technical and commercial.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP (plus).
• Strong analytical mindset and structured working style.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
