Commercial Project Manager – Mobility Software Solutions

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join the Mobility Software Solutions team in Aveiro. You will be responsible for commercial bid and project management within the "Mobility as a Service" and "Train Planning Systems" segments of our Software Business Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial tasks for category "C" and small bids and projects worldwide.
• Act as World Project Controller, overseeing project calculation, accounting, controlling and reporting.
• Utilise AI tools and integrate data sources to automate reporting and provide data‑driven insights.
• Manage contract administration and coordinate with legal experts on claims.
• Report to business unit and segment management, collaborating with internal departments and customers.
• Participate in quotation and limits of authority processes.
• Contribute to special topics such as software‑business accounting and value‑chain process optimisation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Project Manager.
• Certification as a Commercial Project Manager is preferred.
• Strong command of English for international activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for reporting and analysis.
• Expertise in IFRS accounting.
• Experience in contract management.
• Knowledge of project calculation, export, customs and taxes.
