CoE Accounting Specialist – Intercompany Finance

About the role

The CoE Accounting Specialist (Intercompany) supports local referents in monthly financial closings, daily operations, and communication with client countries. You will ensure the accuracy of intercompany account reconciliations and help drive improvements in accounting quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly financial closing tasks for intercompany accounts.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet intercompany accounts accurately.
• Monitor and distribute ageing reports for intercompany AP and AR invoices.
• Ensure timely payments and receipts of intercompany invoices.
• Conduct P&L analysis, identify gaps, and support country teams in resolution.
• Manage accounts‑receivable encashment to close invoices upon payment.
• Prepare monthly audits by fulfilling intercompany control requirements.
• Execute lettrage of AP and AR provisions.
• Launch accounting quality action plans with local referents.
• Participate in ad‑hoc tasks and COE projects to improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (intercompany preferred).
• Comfortable communicating in English (B1+).
• Strong planning, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Sense of collective responsibility and ownership.
• Interest in automation, data tools, and analytical problem‑solving.
• Proactive, authentic, and eager to learn.
