Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and technical direction across enterprise projects. This hybrid position focuses on designing, engineering, and implementing security solutions for cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement security controls across AWS, Azure, GCP and on‑premise systems in line with regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain secure enterprise architectures, integrating security into infrastructure, applications, identity systems and data platforms.
• Develop automation, orchestration and AI‑driven solutions to improve detection, response and operational efficiency.
• Engineer and integrate security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, cloud security and data protection technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure design and implementation of systems and applications.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with at least 3 years in security engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of security architecture across cloud, on‑premise and hybrid environments.
• Deep expertise in industry frameworks (NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP) and ability to apply them to real‑world solutions.
• Proven experience with automation, orchestration and AI‑driven security solutions.
