Cloud/ DevOps Engineering Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineering Lead to drive the CloudOps and DevOps workstream for an AI‑assisted SAP migration and modern data platform program. The role will be based in our Digital Campus in Porto and will involve leading secure cloud, hybrid and on‑premise integration patterns while collaborating with SAP, AI, Data Engineering, BI and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud, hybrid and on‑premise integration patterns for SAP migration, AI automation and data platform delivery.
• Define the DevOps roadmap, operational model, deployment standards, monitoring approach and platform readiness plan.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, release processes, branching strategies, environment promotion, automated testing integration and deployment controls.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code patterns for cloud services, networking, security, compute, storage and monitoring.
• Enable secure connectivity between cloud platforms and on‑premise SAP systems, data sources, file shares, schedulers, APIs and enterprise infrastructure.
• Collaborate with SAP, AI, Data Engineering, BI, Security, Governance and Business teams to ensure reliable end‑to‑end delivery.
• Contribute to secure environments, cost control, resilience, production support and monitoring processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Cloud and DevOps engineering.
• Proven leadership experience in large‑scale migration or data modernization projects.
• Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with SAP, AI, Data Engineering, BI and security teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude towards operational readiness.
