Clinical AI Author – Top 100 Physicians Collaboration

About the role

MetaQare is assembling the Top 100 medical specialists in Portugal to co‑author Clinical AI models. As a Clinical AI Author you will translate your specialist knowledge into structured, evidence‑based clinical reasoning that will be embedded in transparent, auditable decision‑support tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with other senior physicians to design and validate specialty‑specific clinical reasoning models.
• Provide structured clinical logic aligned with current standards of care, guidelines and evidence‑based practice.
• Review anonymised clinical cases and participate in peer‑review rounds.
• Work closely with MetaQare’s scientific and technical teams to ensure model accuracy, transparency and ethical compliance.
• Update models continuously as new evidence, guidelines and clinical standards emerge.

Required profile

• MD degree recognised by the Ordem dos Médicos (Portugal).
• Board‑certified specialist registered with the Ordem dos Médicos.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑residency clinical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence‑based clinical reasoning.
• Interest in medical innovation, clinical AI and digital decision‑support frameworks.
• Strong command of Portuguese and/or English.
• Eligible to collaborate as an independent professional in Portugal.
