CIM Project Manager

About the role

Join Vestas Power Solutions & Quality to lead software‑focused improvement projects that enhance the safety, reliability and performance of wind turbines worldwide. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of initiatives across turbine control software, digital platforms and connectivity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and hand over improvement projects, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies and budget.
• Lead projects aligned with product and release strategies for turbine control software and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads to define the optimal technical and delivery approach.
• Maintain transparent communication with engineering, business and operations stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Establish project governance, using Jira for backlog management, progress tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in software, digital or technology‑driven environments.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and delivery in complex technical organisations.
• Experience working with agile teams in stage‑gate or regulated settings.
• Proven ability to manage risk, dependencies and multiple stakeholders globally.
