Category 9 Driver – $14.75/hr

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Category 9 licensed driver to transport goods between our distribution center and client locations. The role involves loading, unloading, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and records.

Key responsibilities

• Drive trucks and trailers to transport cargo and inventory.
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, conveyors, carts, and other equipment.
• Plan efficient routes with GPS and ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection records.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues.
• Provide courteous customer service and address delivery inquiries.

Required profile

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Category 9 driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience.
• Willingness to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass background, pre‑employment screening, and drug test.

Required skills

• GPS navigation.
• Pallet jack operation.
• Conveyor equipment handling.
• Vehicle routine maintenance checks.
• Possession of a TWIC Card (preferred).
