Cash Account Manager

About the role

The Cash Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their cash accounts are managed efficiently and their treasury needs are optimised. Working within BNP Paribas' Treasury Operations, the role involves processing client instructions, monitoring transactions, and collaborating with multiple internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, validate and implement client cash instructions.
• Monitor failed instructions, provide updates to clients and coordinate with Credit Risk teams.
• Identify irregular situations, propose corrective actions and obtain management approval.
• Manage client communications via email and phone, and follow up on requests.
• Extract data from systems, reconcile details, verify documentation and forward to processing teams.
• Oversee client or counterparty claims using internal workflow tools (e.g., value‑date adjustments, fund returns).
• Support client onboarding by ensuring SWIFT messages are correctly integrated.
• Maintain checklists and update client‑specific files and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a client‑focused approach.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work within defined procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
