CAD Designer

About the role

As a CAD Designer at Addvolt, you will create and maintain 3D mechanical and electrical models for advanced climate and energy solutions. You will work closely with project engineers to ensure designs meet manufacturing, assembly and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new product 3D models and 2D drawings using CREO.
• Create electrical harness schematics with CREO Schematics and 3D harness models with CREO Pro‑cabling.
• Model castings, stampings, extrusions, injection‑molded parts, sheet‑metal components and piping.
• Monitor design workflow and release data to the PLM system (Windchill).
• Present design concepts to project engineers and ensure compliance with GD&T and tolerance requirements.
• Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis and incorporate results into designs.
• Create product BOMs and maintain CREO model matrices.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in new product design.
• Proficiency with CREO and CREO Schematics for mechanical and electrical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing and PLM (Windchill) processes.
• Ability to produce accurate 3D models, 2D drawings and detailed BOMs.
