About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our Sales Development and Business Development Representatives across North and Central Europe. Based in Lisbon with a hybrid work model, you will join Zendesk’s fast‑growing EMEA sales organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, coach and develop early‑career SDRs and BDRs to consistently exceed quota.
- Design and continuously improve SDR/BDR processes, methodologies and lead‑flow management.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and Talent Acquisition to drive the revenue and talent pipeline.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, productivity and overall team performance.
- Promote Zendesk’s culture and values across a multicultural, multilingual environment.
Required profile
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional German, Dutch or Nordic language is a plus.
- Proven track record building high‑performing sales teams in a SaaS environment.
- Experience leading teams that achieve 100 %+ quota attainment.
- Background in demand generation, lead flow management and SaaS support, sales or CRM solutions.
- Startup mindset with proactive, creative pipeline development.
