Business Analyst – Engineering & Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Business Analyst – Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering to join Airbus GBS in Coimbra or Lisbon. The role involves managing KPI dashboards, coordinating subcontracting, overseeing workforce data, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting local initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomously manage and update KPI dashboards for Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, evaluate delivery plans and liaise with Finance.
• Own the subcontracting management process from PO tracking to goods receipt, anticipate risks and coordinate Supplier Performance Review milestones with SCMs.
• Lead the maintenance and update of workforce dashboards across multiple domains, ensuring accurate categorisation of internal, external and extended‑make resources.
• Identify complex business risks and opportunities beyond formal data, structuring insights for internal customers.
• Support development of solutions to recurring complex problems, acting as a trusted operational interface with remote international stakeholders.
• Drive local initiatives for Airbus Portugal, contribute to centralising business management activities, standardise processes and champion lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Required profile

• Educational background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience in business analysis, data management or operational tracking.
• Proven professional experience in business analysis, data management or financial control with ability to work with limited supervision.
• Capability to act as an informal resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.
• Fluent English; French, German or Spanish are a plus.
