Business Analysis Associate

About the role

Adaptfy is seeking a Business Analysis Associate to join its Data and Analytics team in Porto. You will work closely with SHV group clients to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions and support the design and implementation of analytics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand business challenges, conduct workshops and gather requirements.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities, and formulate problem statements.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and data‑analytics professionals, ensuring clear communication.
• Develop Functional Design Documents and business use cases to guide solution design.
• Collaborate with internal analytics teams to design, test and refine analytics solutions.
• Support client adoption of analytics solutions and provide implementation guidance.
• Perform data quality checks, map KPIs and assess their relevance to business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders at various levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or data‑analytics consulting.
• Proven ability to work with clients, conduct interviews and document requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience analysing large, complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English.
