Blade Features Engineer

About the role

Join the renewable‑energy frontier as a Blade Features Engineer, leading the design and development of advanced blade surface features that boost turbine efficiency and durability. You will translate technology concepts into new blade designs, oversee production readiness, and support field implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop aerodynamic add‑on components and protection systems for wind turbine blades.
• Conduct FMEA, simulation, and validation activities to manage technical risk.
• Collaborate with technical designers, structural engineers, and product introduction teams to align new technologies with product requirements.
• Define design standards that improve manufacturability and quality.
• Lead project communication with internal and external stakeholders, bridging Blade Technology and the wider organization.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics Engineering, Wind Energy or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on advanced modeling, design, validation and integration.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Excellent English communication skills; Portuguese is a plus.
• Passion for renewable energy and willingness to drive change.
