BIM Modeler - Industrial Structures

About the role

Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting a BIM Modeler for the Industrial Structures Department, based at the Lisbon office. With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and model industrial structures in a BIM environment, complying with company standards and national/international regulations.
• Create and manage 3D digital models and associated technical information to support engineering activities.
• Produce technical drawings, model extractions, and documentation from BIM models (plans, sections, details, and schedules).
• Model and coordinate structural elements (concrete, steel, foundations, etc.) ensuring alignment with engineering design.
• Ensure multidisciplinary coordination (structures, architecture, MEP), identifying and resolving clashes through coordination processes.

Required profile

• Minimum of secondary education (12th grade) or a technical drafting qualification.
• Experience in steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD or Tekla.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to read and interpret data.
• Adaptability and ability to work across different types of projects.
• Accuracy, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
