Beauty and Wellness Consultant

About the role

The Beauty and Wellness Consultant maximizes sales and brand awareness by delivering exceptional, personalized customer care. You will inspire customers with beauty knowledge, provide mini‑makeovers and skincare consultations, and ensure a delightful in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and consultations using tools such as the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in‑store events to promote owned brands and overall beauty, wellness, and personal‑care offerings.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through link‑selling, up‑selling, and the use of testers and sampling.
• Maintain a clean, organized department and ensure compliance with hygiene and asset‑protection standards.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register and locate products across stores or online when needed.
• Participate in meetings on promotions, brand launches, and sales goals.

• Passion for beauty and wellness with a strong customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to provide impartial, personalized advice regardless of brand or budget.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Commitment to up‑holding store policies, legal regulations, and respectful coworker relationships.

Required skills

• Operation of a Skin Hydrometer for skin analysis.
• Proficient use of tablets for consultations and product information.
• Cash register handling and basic store system knowledge.
• Implementation of asset‑protection procedures.
