Banking .NET Developer – Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for banking sector projects. The role involves close collaboration with product teams, designers, and business analysts to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the codebase.
• Guide and support junior developers, promoting good programming practices.
• Create scalable architectures and robust solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and business analysts to understand system requirements.
• Write unit tests and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, scalability, and bug issues.
• Focus on code optimization and performance tuning using profiling techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Strong background in object‑oriented development techniques.
• Experience with C#.NET Core and Azure DevOps.
• Solid experience with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of cloud services (preferred).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
