Back End Developer – Python, Kubernetes, Docker

About the role

We are hiring two Backend Software Engineers to design, scale and optimise high‑concurrency, distributed platforms using Python. The role is fully remote and focuses on building cloud‑native micro‑services, real‑time data pipelines and event‑driven architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop low‑latency, thread‑safe asynchronous services with FastAPI, Asyncio or Django.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain containerised applications on Kubernetes and Docker.
• Integrate and scale message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or NATS for streaming pipelines.
• Optimise database schemas, queries and caching layers in PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Implement observability using Grafana, Prometheus and Argo CD, and automate deployments via GitOps.

Required profile

• Solid commercial experience delivering production‑grade backend APIs or data pipelines in Python.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD automation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
