Azure Data & Analytics DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data & Analytics DevOps Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team at the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus in Porto. You will shape the DevOps strategy for a modern Azure‑based data platform, enabling rapid, reliable delivery of data solutions that power e‑commerce and business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the DevOps strategy for the organization’s Azure data platform, aligning with business objectives.
• Design, build, and continuously optimise CI/CD/CT pipelines for complex data workflows.
• Integrate Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake) with big‑data frameworks such as Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Establish best‑practice standards for automated testing, secure deployments, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement Azure security controls including Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Azure Policy.
• Lead observability, monitoring, and incident‑resolution activities to ensure platform reliability.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and promote their adoption.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of professional experience in Azure‑focused DevOps or data engineering.
• Proven ability to design and operate large‑scale data platforms on Azure.
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and monitoring in cloud environments.
