About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to perform routine food preparation and delivery of cold or hot meals within our facility. The role involves maintaining high standards of sanitation and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine clean‑up and sanitation tasks in the kitchen, dining, and serving areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Properly prepare, serve, and store food in accordance with facility policies and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food safety regulations throughout all operations.
• Follow standardized recipes and approved menus when preparing meals.
• Apply appropriate service methods and food‑handling techniques to guarantee quality and consistency.
• Understand and implement sanitation procedures required to provide a safe and healthy environment for staff and patients.
• Adhere to menu and special‑diet compliance, reporting any dietary non‑compliance or concerns to the dietician, supervisor, or manager.
• Carry out other assigned functions and tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or a comparable food‑safety certification, when required by state or facility regulations.
