AWS DevOps Engineer – Distributed Cloud

About the role

We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Distributed Cloud team in Porto. You will own and continuously improve our core AWS infrastructure, ensuring it is automated, resilient and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a secure, scalable, and robust infrastructure code base using Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles.
• Improve cloud infrastructure logging and auditing capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate repetitive tasks and resolve issues.
• Ensure security, backup, and real‑time monitoring of all cloud services.
• Contribute to the internal roadmap and cloud strategy.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route53 and security features.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Good understanding of web architectures (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
