Associate Inventory Analyst

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate Inventory Analyst to support inventory accuracy, availability and control across its supply chain. The role involves monitoring stock levels, analyzing trends and helping resolve discrepancies while collaborating with operations, planning, purchasing and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain secure and properly identified inventories, ensuring accessibility for authorized personnel.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with system records.
• Verify quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Analyze inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with production and sales requirements.
• Assist with reporting, data validation and process improvement initiatives to reduce excess and prevent shortages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (0+ years of experience required).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Power BI for reporting.
• Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as EOQ, safety stock, min/max and ABC analysis.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., medical devices).
