About the role

The Associate Director, Patient Engagement & Public Policy, will shape and execute the organization’s strategy to engage patients, advocacy groups, and policymakers. This senior role serves as the primary bridge between the company and external health‑care stakeholders to advance patient‑centered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a local patient engagement and advocacy strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Act as the main liaison with patient advocacy organizations, disease‑focused associations, health‑care coalitions, and community stakeholders.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic partnerships that promote patient‑centered health‑care solutions and improve outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and support policy initiatives that reflect patient needs and organizational goals.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory, and health‑policy developments, evaluating risks and opportunities for patients and the business.
• Integrate patient perspectives into public affairs, policy, and business strategies.
• Represent the organization in interactions with policymakers, advocacy coalitions, and community leaders.
• Develop governance frameworks and performance metrics to evaluate the impact of engagement and advocacy programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in patient engagement, advocacy, or health‑care public policy.
• Strong track record of building and managing partnerships with external health‑care stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of legislative and regulatory environments affecting health‑care.
• Ability to translate patient insights into strategic business and policy recommendations.
• Experience managing grants, donations, and sponsorship processes with compliance oversight.
