Area Sales Manager – Sales & Service

About the role

SAIC Motor Portugal, the national sales company for the MG brand, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales and service activities across its dealer network in Portugal. This full‑time role focuses on driving business growth, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and implementing MG processes consistently throughout the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and service strategies to increase business opportunities.
• Monitor, control and achieve KPI targets for both sales and service functions.
• Support and guide the dealer network through regular face‑to‑face meetings and on‑the‑job training.
• Ensure that all MG brand processes are correctly implemented at dealer locations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams to align resources and objectives.

Required profile

• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Target‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of exceeding expectations.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• User‑level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
