Architect – Data Center Design (Lisbon/Porto)

About the role

CTS Group is seeking an experienced Architect to join its Architecture team in Lisbon or Porto. You will be involved in the full architectural design cycle for large‑scale Data Centers and industrial facilities, from feasibility studies to construction documentation and on‑site support.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of Data Centers and industrial facilities, covering feasibility studies through construction documentation.
• Develop detailed architectural layouts, plans and design solutions that meet technical, sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with structural, civil and MEP engineering teams to ensure multidisciplinary design integration.
• Support interactions with authorities and regulatory bodies to secure permits and ensure compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, material specifications, Bills of Quantities and other project documentation.
• Provide technical support during construction to guarantee correct implementation of architectural solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and project development, preferably for complex buildings, industrial facilities or Data Centers.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building regulations and industry standards.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast‑paced environment.
