Analog Design, Sr Staff Engineer

About the role

Synopsys is seeking an experienced analog design engineer to lead the development of high‑performance analog circuits for high‑speed SerDes products. You will work on medium to large complexity designs that support Ethernet and PCIe standards, collaborating with global, cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog circuits for SerDes products, ensuring performance, power, and area targets.
• Guide junior analog designers and conduct design reviews.
• Define project execution methods, plan milestones, and track progress.
• Evaluate and mitigate parasitic effects in layout, working closely with layout engineers.
• Validate silicon against simulation results and ensure reliability.
• Mentor less‑experienced engineers and foster skill development.
• Participate in a multicultural R&D environment, contributing to collaborative innovation.

Required profile

• Strong background in CMOS analog design and high‑speed SerDes.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working in global, cross‑functional projects.
