About the role
Smartcat is looking for an AI First Developer to join its core engineering team. You will be responsible for delivering production‑grade features at a speed that traditional teams cannot match, using AI across the entire software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship high‑quality features using AI‑enhanced coding, testing, documentation and release processes.
- Build and optimise AI‑first workflows that integrate generative AI into requirements, design, and deployment stages.
- Own the full feature lifecycle, from concept to production, while continuously improving velocity and automation.
- Collaborate with product and technical leads to accelerate time‑to‑market.
- Mentor teammates on leveraging AI as a productivity multiplier.
Required profile
- Proven ability to deliver production‑ready software quickly and reliably.
- Strong ownership mindset and passion for rapid, high‑quality delivery.
- Comfort working in a fast‑growing, AI‑centric environment.
