AI & Automation Developer – Procurement IT

About the role

As a member of Bosch’s Procurement IT team in Aveiro, you will drive the digital transformation of the global purchasing organisation by creating cutting‑edge automation and AI solutions. You will work on innovative projects that combine generative and agentic AI with robust software engineering to streamline procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy automation scripts and applications that optimise procurement workflows.
• Build custom generative AI and agentic AI solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from purchasing, quality and commercial departments to identify automation and AI opportunities.
• Maintain clear communication on project status, timelines and outcomes with all parties.
• Stay current with advances in AI, machine‑learning and automation technologies to foster continuous innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in full‑stack software development.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement automation solutions such as RPA.
• Experience working with database systems and ORM frameworks.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Antigravity, Opencode, pi, Codex).
• RPA development.
