Agile Coach – Banking Sector

About the role

Devoteam is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support its Banking sector clients in Lisbon. The role will act as a change agent, trainer, mentor and facilitator, driving the adoption of Agile values and practices across teams. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other stakeholders to deliver high‑performing, self‑organising teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coach development teams by applying Agile values, principles, practices, tools and techniques to improve delivery and collaboration.
• Facilitate and energize Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and reviews.
• Design and lead workshops and events that foster Agile mindset and problem‑solving.
• Provide training and advisory services on Agile methodologies to teams and individuals.
• Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other roles, offering personalized support and guidance.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional French language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JIRA for backlog management and sprint tracking.
• Experience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
