Accounting & Tax Manager

About the role

Electrolux is seeking an Accounting & Tax Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for its commercial distribution business in Puerto Rico. The role will oversee financial reporting, compliance, accounts payable, and ERP transformation while partnering with local, regional, and US stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in line with local GAAP, tax regulations and Electrolux policies.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external audits, regulatory compliance and tax filings.
• Oversee accounting treatment of imports, intercompany transactions and inventory flows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to drive business decisions.
• Partner with commercial, supply‑chain and management teams to improve financial visibility and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, controls, governance and automation.
• Manage accounts payable performance, working‑capital optimization and risk mitigation.
• Represent Finance in the ERP migration from JD Edwards to SAP, supporting design, testing and implementation.
• Lead, coach and develop a small finance team, fostering accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting and tax functions in a complex, multi‑origin supply environment.
• Strong ability to work in a matrix organization and build cross‑functional relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and accounts payable.
