Accounting Officer – English/Portuguese

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Officer to join our international accounting team in Lisbon. The role covers both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, supporting the full accounting cycle while ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, perform three‑way matching, and execute payment runs.
• Record and monitor customer payments, apply cash receipts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Review, validate, and reimburse employee expense reports in line with company policy.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or General Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; French is a plus.
• Workday finance experience with procurement is a plus.
