Accountant Specialist – SME Clients (Lisbon)

About the role

Tally is seeking an Accountant Specialist to support its SME clients in Lisbon. The role involves preparing and analysing financial reports, managing payables and receivables, reconciling accounts and ensuring tax compliance, while leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports for SME clients.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese tax regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support the implementation of technology‑driven accounting solutions.

Required profile

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Deep knowledge of Portuguese tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting setting (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; Certified Accountant (TOC) a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced early‑stage tech environment.

Required skills
