Accountant

About the role

Integra, a Westwood strategic alliance company, is looking for a high‑performing Accountant to support its growing operations in Puerto Rico. This full‑time position offers a CPA the chance to move from public accounting into a dynamic, operationally focused role with direct influence on financial reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support the close process, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Partner with operational and finance leaders in Puerto Rico to ensure accurate financial and tax reporting.
• Assist internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls and accounting processes.
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex transactions.
• Perform revenue accounting, including revenue recognition and compliance.
• Analyze project costs, margins and profitability and provide insights.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, loans, cash movements and currency translation.
• Support multi‑entity accounting and consolidation of financial results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• 4–5 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit processes.
• Ability to translate technical accounting concepts into practical business guidance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
