Accountant – Accounts Management

About the role

MGM Muthu Hotels is expanding its finance team and seeks an Accountant to manage core accounting functions across its global hotel portfolio. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions, support month‑end closing, and maintain compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control accounting entries.
• Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices, record receipts, settle payments, and prepare weekly reports.
• Manage accounts payable: record invoices, process payment requests, and verify supplier statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and handle travel expense processing.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting statements.
• Support monthly and annual account closing activities.
• Ensure tax and accounting compliance.
• Assist internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent in English; Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and quick learning ability.
• Dynamic, proactive and results‑oriented.
