Account Representative – Dual Role (Field)

About the role

Island Finance is seeking a motivated Account Representative to handle both collections and sales activities in the field. You will work directly with existing borrowers and prospective clients, providing guidance on financial products and helping retain and grow the customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections for assigned accounts through in‑person visits, phone calls, and an auto‑dialer system.
• Identify client needs and recommend suitable financial products that match their repayment capacity.
• Guide borrowers approaching loan payoff to renew their loans with attractive offers.
• Conduct field visits to verify employment and assess delinquent accounts (30+ days past due).
• Develop payment plans, loan restructurings, or other loss‑mitigation solutions while complying with all relevant regulations.
• Perform outbound sales calls and assist walk‑in customers, following up on interested prospects.

Required profile

• Experience in collections, loan servicing, or financial sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and conduct on‑site assessments.
• Knowledge of applicable financial regulations (e.g., Reg. E, Reg. B, Reg. Z, etc.).
