About the role
DLA Piper’s San Juan office is inviting exceptional 2L law students to join its 2027 Summer Program. This on‑site internship offers hands‑on experience with leading clients, allowing you to develop legal expertise in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft written communications.
- Analyze problems and provide strategic legal advice.
- Craft, critique, and comment on arguments for client matters.
- Deliver accurate, well‑reasoned work products under tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with partners, lawyers, clients, and support staff.
- Manage deliverables, respond to correspondence, and meet all expectations promptly.
Required profile
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build legal skills.
- Completed at least four semesters of law school before the program start.
- Motivated, innovative thinker who thrives on challenge and teamwork.
