Workshop Facilitator for K-8 Adaptive Learning

About the role

Alpha School is seeking a dynamic Workshop Facilitator to guide K-8 students through life‑skill workshops and one‑on‑one coaching. You will work on a campus that uses a 2‑Hour Learning framework, where core academics are delivered by adaptive platforms and you provide the human element that technology cannot.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching to students using Coachbot analytics and platform dashboards to identify learning obstacles.
• Facilitate hour‑long experiential workshops on public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and feedback exchange.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery evaluations and ensure students only progress after demonstrating true comprehension.
• Implement Alpha’s motivational system, including leaderboards, incentives, and weekly goal‑setting sessions.
• Build trust with students so rigorous accountability feels motivating.

Required profile

• Passion for high standards and belief in every child’s potential.
• Comfort with data‑driven coaching and ability to interpret analytics.
• Excellent communication skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Formal teaching certification not required.

Required skills

• Experience with Coachbot analytics or similar educational data tools.
• Familiarity with adaptive learning platforms.
