Warehouse Team Lead

About the role

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for directing and coordinating shift activities across required warehouse areas. This position ensures operational continuity, adherence to established procedures, and safe, efficient execution of assigned tasks while acting as the bridge between operational staff and supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shift’s operations in assigned warehouse zones.
• Assign daily tasks in collaboration with the supervisor and allocate resources based on operational priorities.
• Maintain continuous communication with the supervisor to report progress, challenges, and team performance.
• Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment as needed, complying with safety standards.
• Verify compliance with quality standards and ensure proper documentation of processes.
• Train and support new and existing employees on area procedures.
• Promote a collaborative, respectful, and safety‑focused work culture.
• Monitor attendance and enforce work‑hour policies.
• Perform additional warehouse‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
