Technical Support Specialist – IT Support Role

About the role

Our client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to deliver high‑quality technical assistance to customers, partners and internal teams across Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal. The role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, supporting product implementations and providing training while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone, email and chat to customers, partners, sales representatives and internal teams.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, installation and configuration problems.
• Offer expertise on database setup, user management, reporting, platform configuration and system navigation.
• Troubleshoot device‑related issues, network communications and software applications.
• Coordinate product returns, replacements and exchanges with internal departments.
• Develop and deliver product and technical training for customers, partners and resellers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Escalate critical or recurring technical issues to management when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic business initiatives and stay updated on product enhancements and industry trends.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Highly organized, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk or a similar troubleshooting role.

Required skills

• Technical troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, C# and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, reporting).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Understanding of databases and system configuration.
