System Support Technician

About the role

The Systems Support Technician provides technical assistance to users across the organization, ensuring incidents are handled, tracked, and resolved promptly. The role also contributes to training, documentation, and regional technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as liaison between business areas and regional technical teams for specialized requests.
• Manage service requests and incidents via the ticketing tool, meeting established service levels.
• Support base software issues (Windows OS, Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Teams, antivirus, security agents).
• Diagnose and resolve hardware problems and equipment requests.
• Provide LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN connectivity support and manage access permissions.
• Maintain computer inventory and software compliance.
• Monitor critical office infrastructure and escalate incidents as needed.
• Assist in technical testing for infrastructure changes and projects.
• Document procedures, instructions, and guidelines.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in information technology, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Analytical and organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple requests.
